Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances through communication with payors and patients
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while documenting account actions and statuses
• Assist with special projects and escalate payment delays or issues to management as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic computer skills, including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid collections
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
