Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve patient accounts, including contacting payors and patients
• Maintain productivity goals while documenting account actions and statuses
• Participate in special projects and communicate findings effectively

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate patient accounting applications
• Intermediate knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid collections
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
