Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients
• Maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Document account actions and communicate issues related to account workflows and payor behavior

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance
• Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
