Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative to serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls efficiently and explain patient balances while collecting payments
  • Review and update patient information to resolve claim issues and communicate with relevant departments
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with federal and state laws regarding healthcare billing
Required Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of healthcare and/or customer service experience required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and various insurance plans
  • Familiarity with CPT & ICD-10 coding preferred
