Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative to serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls efficiently and explain patient balances while collecting payments
- Review and update patient information to resolve claim issues and communicate with relevant departments
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with federal and state laws regarding healthcare billing
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 1-2 years of healthcare and/or customer service experience required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare billing and various insurance plans
- Familiarity with CPT & ICD-10 coding preferred
