Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative for Rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter patient information, verify insurance and financial responsibility
• Communicate benefits and financial responsibilities to patients and maintain documentation
• Assist in training new employees and ensure compliance with insurance processes

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years experience in insurance or precertification in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, HCPCS & ICD-9/ICD-10 codes
• Computer skills, including proficiency in Excel
• All required certifications must be obtained upon hire
