Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review insurance coverage and determine patient financial responsibility prior to service delivery
  • Submit, track, and manage insurance claims, including follow-ups on denials and appeals processing
  • Communicate with patients and internal teams to resolve billing and account discrepancies
Required Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare, or related field with 1+ year of medical/DME billing experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of insurance verification, claims submission, denial management, and appeals processes
  • Proficiency with Windows-based systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet applications
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience using claims management or healthcare billing software is preferred
