Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve patient account billing issues by contacting patients and insurance providers
• Review payer contracts and client host systems to determine reimbursement and payment variances
• Maintain patient health information integrity and meet daily productivity goals

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent education and experience
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree preferred
• Medical billing related credentials from a certifying institution preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare terminology and HIPAA concepts
• Ability to work with healthcare billing software and manage time effectively
