Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow up with payers to ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims
  • Review and update patient and financial information accurately
  • Analyze and resolve issues causing payer payment delays and initiate appeals when necessary
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years' experience in insurance collections and hospital/facility billing
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare claims processing including ICD-9/10, CPT, and HCPC codes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Medical Billing and Coding certification preferred but not required
