Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound patient calls regarding billing statements, insurance claims, and payment collection
• Verify patient demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and making necessary updates
• Educate patients on financial assistance programs and assist them in navigating the insurance claims process

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in medical billing processes and insurance terminology
• Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic health records (EHR) or billing software
• High School diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
• Experience in a customer service or call center role, preferably in the healthcare industry
