Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates billing and collection processes for outstanding accounts receivable
• Communicates with internal and external contacts regarding billing, collections, and claims resolution
• Monitors daily queues and handles incoming and outgoing billing correspondence and inquiries

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of diploma/GED
• 6 months to 2+ years of experience in office, business, operations, customer service, or healthcare field
• General knowledge of back-end revenue cycle management functions
• Experience with insurance portals is preferred
• Basic PC skills in a Windows environment, including knowledge of Word and Excel
