Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative I.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle billing for hospital and physician claims, ensuring compliance with insurance time filing limits
• Conduct follow-up with third-party payors to obtain payments and resolve patient account issues
• Maintain patient accounts and respond to inquiries from patients and commercial entities

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate Degree in Health Care, Finance, or a related area preferred
• Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
• One year of experience in hospital financial or patient services
