Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative I.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle billing for hospital and physician claims for inpatients and outpatients
• Perform follow-up with third-party payors to obtain payment and resolve patient accounts
• Respond to inquiries regarding patient accounts and maintain accurate patient account records

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate Degree in Health Care, Finance, or related area preferred
• Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10
• One year of experience in hospital financial or patient services preferred
