Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative I.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage billing for hospital and physician claims, ensuring compliance with insurance time filing limits
• Conduct follow-up with third-party payors to resolve patient account issues and obtain payments
• Maintain patient account information in billing and claims editing systems and respond to inquiries

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate Degree in Health Care, Finance, or a related area preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted
• Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
• One year of experience in hospital financial or patient services is preferred
