Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative- Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with payers to resolve outstanding claims and ensure timely billing
• Monitor and update patient and financial information for accuracy
• Analyze and resolve issues causing payment delays, including initiating appeals when necessary

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2-3 years' experience in insurance collections and hospital/facility billing required
• Basic knowledge of healthcare claims processing, including ICD-9/10 and CPT codes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Experience with various workflow systems and client host systems preferred
