Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately bill patient accounts and submit insurance claims to third-party payers
• Document billing activities and ensure compliance with billing regulations
• Communicate with payers to follow up on outstanding claims and resolve payment variances

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of relevant hospital or clinic billing experience required
• 1-2 years of customer service or business office experience preferred
• Knowledge of third-party payer guidelines and medical coding
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
