Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Physician Claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact third party payers and guarantors to resolve account balances
• Work on denials and submit appeals as necessary for account resolution
• Document account actions and updates in the client practice management system

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of Diploma / GED
• 1-3+ years of experience in office, business, operations, customer service, or healthcare
• Previous experience working with insurance portals is preferred
• PC skills in a Windows environment are required
• Knowledge of desktop applications, including Word and Excel, is essential
