Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

To support patient account management, the full-time Patient Account Representative will process insurance payments, follow up on denied claims, and resolve credit balances while working remotely from MO, IL, OK, or WI.

Key responsibilities

• Processes the insurance component of patient obligations and bills claims appropriately
• Follows up on denied claims through appeals and denial recovery procedures
• Analyzes and resolves credit balances on patient accounts, responding to refund requests from insurance carriers

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with denied hospital payments and follow-up, including insurance or Work Comp
• No prior experience required
