Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

To support the billing and collection processes, the full-time Patient Account Representative will manage incoming and outgoing communications with patients and insurance companies regarding account balances, ensuring compliance with client policies and procedures while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitates the billing and collection of outstanding accounts receivable
• Communicates with internal and external contacts to resolve claims and billing inquiries
• Monitors daily queues and documents actions taken to support claims inquiries

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience
• 0-2+ years of experience in office, business, operations, customer service, or healthcare
• Familiarity with insurance portals and billing processes
• Proficiency in desktop applications, including Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
