Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and compassionate, the full-time hourly Patient Account Representative I will review and resolve outstanding invoices while ensuring timely follow-up and maintaining financial accuracy in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and resolve outstanding invoices according to departmental policies and productivity standards
• Respond to inquiries via correspondence, email, and telephone within established timelines
• Document all actions taken in a clear, concise, and accurate manner

Required qualifications

• Completion of High School or GED is required
• Two to four years of experience in a physician office, hospital registration, collection agency, or professional billing
• Training at an educational institution that includes medical billing is acceptable
