Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

To support the Patient Financial Services Department, the full-time remote Patient Account Representative 2 will manage billing forms, analyze unresolved accounts, and update patient information to ensure accurate and compliant billing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and prepare various billing forms according to regulatory requirements
• Analyze unresolved accounts and take action on payer denials
• Update patient demographic and financial information in applicable systems

Required qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent
• Two years of experience in patient accounting, customer service, or a related office environment
• Knowledge of UB, CMS 1500, ADA billing forms and payer requirements
• Familiarity with Epic Hospital Billing and/or Professional Billing systems
