Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on unpaid accounts with payers through phone or websites
• Review accounts for underpayments and resolve payment with payers
• Perform appeals with payers and handle bad debt requests

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of relevant work experience
• Must have EPIC experience
• Knowledge of medical reimbursement policies and procedures
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance claim procedures
