Patient Account Representative II

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle team, the full-time Patient Account Representative II will manage accounts receivable collections, verify account balances, and ensure timely payments while working onsite in Arlington, TX, with potential remote work at the manager's discretion.

Key responsibilities

• Verify account balances and resolve discrepancies through research and communication with payors and patients
• Process financial assistance applications and maintain accurate documentation in the system
• Identify and address payor contract issues, escalating unresolved accounts as necessary

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of healthcare revenue cycle accounts receivable experience
• Proficiency in computer skills, including advanced word processing and spreadsheets
• General knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
• Experience with Epic software is preferred
