Patient Account Representative II

Job Summary

Supporting the revenue cycle functions, the remote Patient Account Representative II will manage billing, collections, and cash posting while demonstrating leadership and training new staff in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process patient accounts through billing, collections, and payment posting
• Manage complex accounts receivable tasks, including claim rejections and follow-up
• Provide training to team members and identify process improvements to enhance operations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a hospital and/or physician business office
• Thorough understanding of billing regulations, medical terminology, and payer guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and systems such as Epic and SSI (preferred)
• Ability to analyze root causes of errors or delays to improve efficiency
