Patient Account Representative II

Job Summary

Supporting the revenue cycle functions of hospital and physician practices, the remote Patient Account Representative II will manage billing, collections, and cash posting while demonstrating leadership and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process patient accounts through billing, collections, and payment posting
• Handle complex accounts receivable tasks, including claim rejections and follow-up activities
• Provide training to team members and assist in identifying process improvements

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a hospital or physician business office
• Thorough understanding of billing regulations and medical terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and systems such as Epic and SSI (preferred)
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and leadership in daily responsibilities
