Patient Account Representative IV

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative IV (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Process insurance balance patient claims and resolve unpaid or underpaid accounts
• Review and appeal payer denials while identifying trends and root causes
• Perform payment posting, batch reconciliation, and manage credit balance resolutions

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible and directly-related work experience
• Extensive knowledge of reimbursement requirements and medical billing operations
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounts receivable software systems
• Knowledge of various payer landscapes, including Medicare and Medicaid
