Patient Account Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Process insurance claims for hospital, clinic, and homecare
• Address and resolve issues related to charges or payments
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and collaborate with patients and internal teams to resolve billing issues

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of recent hospital and/or clinic billing experience, or an associate degree in a related field, or a Bachelor's Degree
• Basic computer knowledge with experience in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to company policies, vision, mission, and values
• Reliable and consistent attendance
