Job Summary

Working remotely for Colorado residents, the full-time Patient Account Specialist will process account payments, update insurance and demographic information, and research payments while collaborating with other departments to resolve issues.

Key responsibilities

• Processing account payments and updating insurance information
• Researching payments and rebilling insurance as necessary
• Collaborating with other departments to achieve resolution on adjustments and insurance follow-up

Required qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare experience required
• Billing experience preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance billing and follow-up practices preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
