Patient Account Specialist

Job Summary

Providing exceptional patient support in a remote capacity, the Patient Account Specialist will assist with billing inquiries, process payments, and escalate unresolved issues while working full-time hours in a high-volume call center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls, addressing billing questions and concerns
• Process payments and establish payment plans while maintaining professional relationships
• Escalate complex issues to the Accounts Receivable team as needed

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications
• Strong active listening skills and attention to detail
• Experience in a high-volume call center or medical billing is preferred
