Patient Account Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the Patient Account Specialist will assist patients with billing inquiries, process payments, and escalate unresolved issues while providing excellent customer support in a high-volume call center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls and provide assistance with billing questions
• Process payments and set up payment plans while maintaining professional relationships
• Escalate complex issues to the Accounts Receivable team as needed

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications
• Experience in a high-volume call center environment or medical billing is preferred
• Must have a quiet, distraction-free workspace that meets HIPAA compliance standards
