Patient Account Specialist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time Patient Account Specialist will manage account follow-up for assigned accounts, resolve billing issues, and answer patient inquiries while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audits of patient accounts to ensure accuracy and timely payment
• Contact patients regarding delinquent accounts and arrange payment schedules
• Follow up on insurance billing to ensure timely receipt of payments

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a medical business office setting with insurance processing and balancing responsibilities
