Patient Accounting Liaison

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounting Liaison responsible for managing patient accounts and inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls from patients regarding billing and payment issues
• Collect past due balances and establish payment plans while assessing financial hardship
• Review accounts receivable and coding issues to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
• At least five (5) years of medical billing and insurance claim filing experience
• Previous experience in a call center environment is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and medical coding
