Patient Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for the daily leadership and operational management of Patient Financial Services, the full-time remote Patient Accounting Manager will oversee billing, collections, and customer service while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and achieving key revenue cycle performance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of Patient Financial Services teams, ensuring timely and accurate collection of financial resources
• Leads operational performance in accounts receivable management, aging reduction, denial resolution, and cash collections
• Uses operational and financial data to identify trends and implement strategies for improved productivity and financial outcomes

Required qualifications

• At least 7 years of progressive revenue cycle experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Minimum of 3 years of direct leadership experience managing teams or supervisors
• Demonstrated experience driving measurable improvements in accounts receivable, denials, or cash performance
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
• Experience managing payer-related issues, escalations, or contract compliance concerns
