Patient Accounting Representative

Job Summary

To support efficient billing processes, the full-time remote Patient Accounting Representative will manage the timely submission of insurance claims, follow up on payments, and resolve denials to ensure maximum reimbursement in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely billing of insurance claims in accordance with policies and regulations
• Expedite larger dollar accounts to optimize revenue and ensure prompt payment
• Resolve payer denials and submit appeals as necessary, while maintaining communication with team leads

Required qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year of collections or administrative experience
• High school diploma
• Demonstrated ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures
• Experience motivating debtors to pay
• Knowledge of medical insurance claims processing is preferred
