Patient Accounting Representative
Job Summary
To support financial operations, the full-time Patient Accounting Representative will bill claims electronically, check for unpaid claim status, and pursue self-pay cash collections while working onsite during the first shift.
Key responsibilities
- Assists with daily activities related to the financial assistance function
- Reviews patient financial assistance applications and obtains necessary documentation
- Determines eligibility for financial assistance in compliance with organizational policy
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications
