Patient Accounting Representative
Job Summary
Billing claims electronically and pursuing self-pay collections, the full-time Patient Accounting Representative will manage unpaid claims, post cash, and provide customer service while working onsite during the first shift.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the manager with daily activities related to the collection function, including contacting patients for past due accounts
- Conduct revenue cycle performance reviews and ensure productivity and quality standards are met
- Handle additional duties as assigned to support the overall patient finance services
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate degree is preferred
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications
