Patient Accounts Analyst - IDR

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Analyst I - Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the revenue cycle for assigned clinics, resolving system edits, insurance denials, and patient billing issues
• File and manage Federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) submissions in compliance with the No Surprises Act
• Provide training and support to clinic personnel on billing policies and revenue cycle best practices

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate Degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, patient accounts, insurance claims processing, or revenue cycle operations required
• Experience with Federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) processes strongly preferred
• Knowledge of the No Surprises Act strongly preferred
