Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completes claims and documents billing activity according to regulations and guidelines
  • Analyzes aged accounts and reviews trends related to denials and credit balances
  • Contacts payers for account status inquiries and leads the appeal process for problem accounts
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • One year of experience in financial services or healthcare business office required
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
  • Prior experience with healthcare computer systems, specifically Epic billing, preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats
