Job Summary

To direct the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the Patient Accounts department, the temporary Patient Accounts Director will work remotely, engaging multiple disciplines to achieve performance targets and optimize service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships and processes to maximize results and promote stakeholder engagement
• Coordinate financial reporting activities with various departments, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Direct department functions including billing, credit and collections, and resolve complex reimbursement issues

Required qualifications

• Experience in healthcare finance or patient accounts management
• Knowledge of third-party payor regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to develop long-range strategies for access planning and management
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and service excellence
• Experience in managing billing, collections, and financial reporting processes
