Patient Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Receivable Representative (EOB/Collections).

Key Responsibilities

• Review open patient account balances for accuracy
• Place outbound calls to collect payments and/or set up payment plans
• Investigate patient billing inquiries and document actions taken thoroughly

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of outbound patient collections experience in a medical/healthcare environment
• Ability to read and interpret EOBs and understand denial reasoning
• Moderate Excel skills and general PC proficiency
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
