Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support franchise partners in optimizing patient accounts receivable, the full-time remote Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage collections, process payments, and ensure clear communication with patients and franchisees.

Key responsibilities:

• Research and verify patient self-pay balances and financial responsibilities
• Process patient payments and set up payment arrangements while identifying accounts for write-offs
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding account balances, payment plans, and financial assistance options

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous self-pay collections experience, preferably in a medical setting
• Proven knowledge of collection processes and systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office and pharmacy applications
