Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative (Temporary - Part-time).

Key Responsibilities

• Review unpaid invoices assigned in ETM System and identify potential problem areas
• Contact carriers to inquire about unpaid claims through websites and phone calls
• Report consistent errors affecting claims processing to the No Response/Billing Supervisor

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of previous medical billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of physician billing and health care reimbursement, with Medicare and Medicaid preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding
• Must be computer literate, with Microsoft Office preferred
