Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Customer Services Representative I.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answers calls in a call center environment to assist with patient inquiries and concerns
  • Processes payments, establishes payment plans, and maintains patient accounts
  • Coordinates with departments on accounts requiring precertification and resolves billing problems
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Less than 1 year of experience, specifically 3 - 6 months required
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy standards
  • Ability to enter data electronically and verify account balances
  • Familiarity with billing processes and insurance information
