Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Process insurance and patient payments for assigned regions, both electronically and manually
• Post payment batches, including denials, and balance against daily deposits
• Notify management of payer denial trends and workflow issues

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of experience with payment posting in a multifacility environment
• Billing experience or graduation from a vocational medical billing course is helpful
• Knowledge of cash posting regulations and insurance rejection/denial processing
• Ability to type efficiently (minimum of 45 words per minute) and operate a computer
• Commitment to organizational values and ability to work well in a team environment
