Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Process insurance and patient payments for assigned regions, both electronically and manually
• Post payment batches, including denials, and balance them against daily deposits
• Maintain knowledge of insurance processing requirements and notify management of trends or issues

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of experience with payment posting in a multifacility environment
• Billing experience or graduation from a vocational medical billing course is helpful
• Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations in American currency
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks without direct supervision
