Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Process insurance and patient payments for assigned regions, both electronically and manually
• Post payment batches and balance them against daily deposits while maintaining production reports
• Notify management of payer denial trends and system issues for workflow enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of experience with payment posting in a multifacility environment
• Billing experience or completion of a vocational medical billing course is helpful
• Basic math skills and ability to perform functions in American currency
• Knowledge of insurance rejection/denial processing and coordination of benefits
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
