Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative, responsible for processing insurance and patient payments remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payments for insurance companies and patients, balancing batches against daily deposits
• Maintain knowledge of coordination of benefits and insurance rejection/denial processing
• Notify management of payer denial trends and workflow issues

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of experience with payment posting in a multifacility environment
• Billing experience or graduation from a vocational medical billing course is helpful
• Knowledge of basic math and cash posting regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
