Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative to manage credit balances and ensure accurate billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process credit balances and invoices, ensuring proper documentation for refunds
• Maintain and review monthly credit reports and communicate with insurance carriers as needed
• Complete various logs related to unapplied payments and deposits while adhering to policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Education equivalent to completion of the 12th grade or a GED
• Minimum of one year of medical billing experience with a focus on accounts receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with IDX-BAR preferred
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
