Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Process credit balances and invoices, ensuring proper documentation for refunds
• Review monthly credit reports and contact insurance carriers for necessary EOBs
• Maintain logs for unapplied payments and deposits, and participate in unit progress meetings

Required Qualifications

• Completion of the 12th grade or equivalent GED
• A minimum of one year of medical billing experience with a focus on accounts receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with IDX-BAR preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
