Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

Working a hybrid schedule Monday through Friday, the full-time Patient Accounts Representative will research, analyze, and reconcile patient account receivables, process claims, and serve as a resource for patient inquiries within the finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and reconcile patient account receivables, refunds, and claims processing
• Process claims and patient statements, including coding, data entry, and follow-up
• Maintain knowledge of managed care contracts, Medicare, Medicaid, and departmental policies

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in patient billing or a related area
• Coding certification (preferred)
• Behavioral health experience (preferred)
