Patient Accounts Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares reports related to denials, credit balances, and payer opportunities
• Analyzes rejection reports and collaborates with management to address denial trends
• Assists with quality assurance tasks and trains new teammates as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Two years of experience in related financial services or healthcare business office required
• College degree (bachelor's or associate) preferred
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
• Prior experience with healthcare computer systems, especially Epic billing, preferred
